Terms of Service
Plain English terms.
Last updated: April 19, 2026
1. Your account
You need an account to use SaveShot. You can create one with Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, or email + password. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. Don't share them.
2. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Create accounts on someone else's behalf without permission.
- Harass, impersonate, or threaten other golfers.
- Upload content you don't have the right to share.
- Try to break, abuse, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Use SaveShot for any illegal purpose.
We can disable or delete accounts that do these things. We'll email you before taking action unless there's an immediate safety issue.
3. Your content
You own your rounds, scores, shots, and photos. By using SaveShot, you give us permission to store, display, and sync that content to other players you share rounds with. We don't use your content for anything outside the app — we don't train AI on it, we don't sell it, and we don't publish it beyond your group.
4. Our content
The SaveShot name, logo, and the app itself are ours. You can't copy them or use them to build a competing product.
5. Pricing
SaveShot is free at launch. If we add paid features later, we'll explain the terms clearly and you'll be able to keep using the free version if you prefer.
6. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the app. We can suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, break the law, or pose a safety risk. If we close your account, you can email support@saveshot.app for an export of your data within 30 days of closure.
7. Disclaimer
SaveShot is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep the service fast and accurate, but we can't guarantee uptime, perfect GPS accuracy, or that every AI-scanned scorecard is 100% correct. Check your scores yourself before settling a bet.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect damages, including lost rounds, missed shots, or disputes with your group. Our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) $50 or (b) the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where SaveShot is headquartered (United States). Disputes go through the courts of that state.
10. Changes
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll email signed-in users and update the “last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. Contact
